SE REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The West Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for building and managing relationships with key customers and others with the objective of establishing trust and ongoing partnerships. Position will be located in Georgia or Florida. We are seeking a dynamic person with sales, relationship skills, and marketing experience. Electronic background is a plus. Candidate must have excellent prospecting skills, a strong work ethic, team player, professional, disciplined time management, and solid closing skills are all requirements of this position.

Position provides client with technical support and consulting during their planning and implementation of the project. Candidate will be evaluating the effectiveness of pricing strategies, identifying gaps and opportunities and recommending modifications to pricing structures as needed by using internal cost information and external data to analyze competitive market pricing as well as analyzing market trends and competitor data to develop pricing models. Position will provide insights on the impact of pricing changes on growth rates and profitability, perform analysis to understand customer price sensitivity and the impact of pricing changes to the business, and define data requirements and resources to support analysis and reporting of overall pricing.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Position requires dedication, commitment, and hard work to meet sales quota, which is consistently monitored and measured.
  • Works with internal organizations to determine price development and possible bid strategy process development
  • Analyzes estimates against previous price experience and trends and recommends adjustments.
  • Reviews and Analyzes new program opportunities to minimize cost and to improve margins
  • Costing and quoting standard and custom products
  • Estimating and quoting NRE ROM
  • Assists in new program introduction
  • Assist in development of business wide pricing policies and targets.
  • Analyze and help optimize “go to market” and commercial processes, Gaps and monitor results and compliance.
  • Participate in product commercial strategy development
  • Frequent interface with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development and Financial teams

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors or graduate degree in Business, Finance, Math, Marketing, or related subject.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in Sales, Business Devleopment and/or Marketing or related field.
  • Self driven and proven ability to produce results without supervision
  • Basic understanding of supply and demand and price elasticity curves
  • Ability to create and modify price models using statistical and data base tools
